Folks, we’ve all been there—you start a new job, you’re excited, and then suddenly, someone gets injured, and the whole team disappears. That’s basically what’s happened with The Wyatt Sicks, who haven’t been seen in nearly two months despite moving to WWE SmackDown via WWE’s magical, never-explained transfer portal (which now includes Damian Priest and The Miz, because why not?).

So, where are they?

“We Have an Injury, But We Won’t Say Who” – WWE, Probably

According to Fightful Select, the primary reason for their absence is an undisclosed injury to one of the group members. Now, WWE is keeping this injury more secret than a Bray Wyatt Firefly Funhouse Easter egg, because even the reporters couldn’t confirm who is hurt.

This is extra weird because The Wyatt Sicks wrestled WWE’s Holiday Tour at the end of 2024 in a series of spooky faction warfare matches against The Final Testament. No reports of an injury came from those matches, so either someone got hurt doing something not in the ring, or they really need to buff out their creative excuse-making.

Alexa Bliss: Is She In? Is She Out? Is She Just Waiting for Creative to Decide?

Fans assumed The Wyatt Sicks’ radio silence was because Alexa Bliss hasn’t returned yet, given her past connection to Bray Wyatt. But Fightful clarified that Bliss’s delayed return isn’t why the faction has been MIA—although they didn’t exactly deny that she’ll be involved.

Bliss, for those who haven’t been keeping up, has been gone for over two years, dealing with skin cancer recovery and welcoming her first child. WWE did have a return plan for her, but those plans have now been shelved due to a contract issue—which in WWE terms means we’ll see her again sometime between next week and never.

What’s Next for The Wyatt Sicks?

With at least one member injured and Bliss’s return in limbo, the faction’s SmackDown takeover is currently as mysterious as their cryptic vignettes. But once they’re cleared, expect them to return with:
Ominous lighting
Creepy monologues
At least one dramatic backstage segment where someone’s standing in the shadows for no reason

Until then, SmackDown remains a little less spooky—but at least The Miz is there now, so… that’s something?
