In today’s edition of “Things We Never Thought We’d See”, WWE’s NXT Tag Team Champions, Axiom & Nathan Frazer, are not just dominating their own brand—they’re now defending their titles in TNA. Yes, you read that right. WWE’s developmental brand has essentially gone on tour, and their next stop is TNA Impact on February 6.
And who’s stepping up for this unlikely cross-promotional showdown? None other than the Nemeth Brothers—Ryan (ex-AEW) and Nic (ex-WWE, formerly Dolph Ziggler).
Fraxiom’s Tag Team World Tour Continues
Let’s give credit where it’s due: Axiom and Nathan Frazer have been running NXT’s tag division like a well-oiled machine. Aside from a brief Chase U reign (which lasted about as long as a bad Tinder date), they’ve been the guys in the division. They even took their dominance to TNA, beating The Rascalz on January 23.
Now, instead of heading home to celebrate, they’re staying in TNA for another title defense—this time against a pair of brothers who have both WWE and AEW experience.
The Nemeth Brothers: From AEW & WWE to NXT Gold?
Ryan and Nic Nemeth have been doing their thing in TNA, but this is their biggest shot yet. They technically reunited when Nic signed with TNA in early 2024, but their tag run has been a little shaky—mainly because Nic was busy winning (and then losing) the TNA World Championship.
Now that Nic is no longer the top singles champion, the brothers are laser-focused on finally winning tag gold. But let’s be honest:
- They lost their last big title match against The System.
- Fraxiom is one of the best teams WWE has right now.
- Santino Marella’s daughter, Arianna Grace, is the one who suggested this match… so if they lose, do they just blame nepotism?
Final Thoughts
This whole situation is wild, and quite frankly, we love it. WWE sending its champions to defend belts in another promotion? That’s the kind of chaos we can all get behind.
- Will Fraxiom continue their cross-promotional dominance?
- Can the Nemeth Brothers finally get their big win?
- How long until WWE sends Dominik Mysterio to TNA to lose another North American Championship?
We’ll find out on February 6!
