Bay Bay, it’s finally payday.

After two failed bids and 134 days of watching Daniel Garcia dance circles around the TNT title scene, Adam Cole finally got his moment at AEW Dynasty — and let me tell you, it was Panama Sunrise o’clock in Philadelphia.

With no time limit and no outside interference (which is just AEW code for “don’t even try it, Kingdom”), Cole and Garcia tore into each other like two guys fighting over the last spot in Undisputed ERA fanfiction. The hatred? Palpable. The strikes? Nasty. The vibes? Very much “this ends tonight.”

Early on, Garcia took command, launching Cole over the announce desk like a disgruntled waiter flipping a table. He worked over Cole’s leg like it owed him money, slamming it into the steel steps and trying to turn the challenger into a hobbling hashtag. With every swinging neckbreaker and stomp, Garcia looked like a man defending his belt and his pride.

But Adam Cole doesn’t just fight back — he rallies. Limping but defiant, Cole landed a Panama Sunrise on the entrance ramp, reminding everyone why that move is both high-risk and high-reward (also, high pain tolerance). Still, his ankle betrayed him when he went for The Boom, allowing Garcia to steal Cole’s own finisher recipe: Panama Sunrise + The Boom = Near Fall + Disrespect.

Then came the twist.

Garcia, getting cocky, attempted a turnbuckle piledriver, presumably because his chiropractor needed job security. Cole fought out of it, hit another Panama Sunrise, followed by a second one for good measure, and then connected The Boom for the 1-2-3 that Philadelphia exploded for.

New TNT Champion: Adam Cole.
Years in the making: 17.
Emotional value: Priceless.

Garcia’s reign ends at 134 days, and Cole begins his first singles championship reign in AEW — a moment nearly two decades in the making, soaked in adrenaline, ankle pain, and the sweet, sweet roar of a city that loves a comeback.
