Folks, it’s big league news for AEW, the little wrestling promotion that could! They’ve just signed a multi-year deal with Amazon Prime Video to distribute their pay-per-views, starting with AEW Revolution this Sunday. Tremendous!
Now, before you get too excited thinking this is included with your Prime subscription—WRONG! You still gotta pay, folks. Capitalism, baby! Just like before, Revolution will run you $49.99 in the U.S., with prices varying in other countries (because exchange rates are a thing).
This move expands AEW’s already stacked distribution options. You can also get their PPVs through YouTube, TrillerTV, PPV.com, and—if you’re living in 1998—traditional cable. Before this, AEW relied on Bleacher Report Live, which is now gone (may it rest in peace, and may its stream buffering be forgotten).
But wait, there’s more! AEW’s partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery means PPVs will eventually be available on Max. Eventually. No one knows when—but they say it’s coming in 2024. We’ll believe it when we see it!
As for AEW Revolution, the card is stacked:
🔥 “Timeless” Toni Storm defends the AEW Women’s World Championship against Mariah May
🔥 Jon Moxley battles Adam Copeland for the AEW World Championship (expect blood, lots of it)
🔥 “Hangman” Adam Page vs. MJF in a match fueled by pure rage and sarcasm
Pre-show starts Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET, with the PPV kicking off at 8:00 p.m. ET. And now, with Prime Video in the mix, there’s literally no excuse not to watch—unless, of course, you don’t want to spend 50 bucks!
