Will Ospreay may be signed to AEW, but he’s still got one boot planted firmly in the UK wrestling scene—preferably while booking something groundbreaking in between cups of Yorkshire Tea.
And now, the Aerial Assassin-turned-Occasional Booker is reportedly working behind the scenes to pull off the most ambitious all-women’s wrestling event in European history, via his work with the fiercely independent, proudly feminist, Pro-Wrestling EVE.
According to a new report by Corey Brennan of Fightful Select, EVE is targeting November for the event and is currently scouting venues large enough to handle what they hope will be a full-on wrestling riot—in the best way, of course.
💥 Who’s Involved?
While the card isn’t confirmed (yet), AEW talent could very well be part of the equation. Ospreay, who now calls Tony Khan’s House of Infinite Elbows his home, has connections to Ring of Honor and STARDOM, and has already hinted that stars like Willow Nightingale, Skye Blue, and Queen Aminata have expressed interest in jumping the pond to participate.
AEW talent? EVE’s homegrown firebrands? TNA names like Harley Hudson? Someone call airport security—because the forbidden door is apparently set to fly coach to London.
🔥 Champions on Deck
Right now, EVE’s throne is ruled by:
-
Nightshade – EVE Champion and resident menace to anyone with unguarded ribs.
-
Anita Vaughan – EVE International Champion and proof that Irish rage travels.
-
Hard Up North – That’s not a weather report, it’s Harley Hudson & Lucy Sky, the EVE Tag Champs who’ve made TNA’s tag division look a little light on attitude lately.
So basically, this card could include AEW talent and EVE’s best and some trans-Atlantic chaos agents. It’s sounding less like a crossover and more like a full-scale matriarchal uprising.
