The Phenomenal One is back! After four months on the shelf, AJ Styles made his grand return at the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble, entering at #21 to a thunderous ovation.
Styles hadn’t been seen in a WWE ring since suffering an injury in an October match with Carmelo Hayes on SmackDown. While initial reports hinted at a storyline, it turned out to be very real. WWE remained hopeful he’d be cleared in time for the Rumble—and luckily, the timing worked out.
How It Went Down:
- Styles wasted no time making an impact, eliminating LA Knight, his WrestleMania 40 opponent from last year. (A little payback, perhaps?)
- However, his return party was crashed by Logan Paul, who sent Styles over the top rope. The streak continues—five Rumble appearances, zero wins.
- The match ultimately ended with Jey Uso (YEET!), but Styles’ return was one of the night’s biggest moments.
With AJ officially back in the mix, the question now is: What’s next? Will he target Logan Paul for revenge? Or is there another Phenomenal WrestleMania moment on the horizon?
