Folks, Alexa Bliss made her big return at the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, and let’s just say—getting her back on WWE TV took more last-minute changes than a Vince McMahon rewrite session.

Just one week ago, reports swirled that Bliss’ return plans had been scrapped, mainly due to contract issues tied to her rumored involvement with the Wyatt Sicks. But, as it turns out, those issues were still a problem up until hours before the Rumble.

So, What Happened?

✅ Bliss agreed to a new five-year WWE deal—but it wasn’t officially signed until Rumble day.
✈️ The ink was barely dry when she was rushed to Indianapolis just before the show.
🤯 Her Rumble return was so last-minute that even the other wrestlers didn’t know she was coming.

Dave Meltzer was skeptical about the whole situation, mainly because Bliss already had a new t-shirt on sale. Turns out, that shirt was originally meant for her first return date on January 13, but WWE pushed it back while negotiations dragged on.

Why the Contract Drama?

WWE wasn’t exactly sweating Bliss leaving—she was still under contract, thanks to an extension. But Bliss wanted a reworked deal, while WWE preferred she stick to her original contract since they had been paying her during her two-year hiatus (which included maternity leave).

Now that everything is sorted, Bliss is officially locked in for five more years, and WWE fans can finally stop speculating about where she’ll end up. (For now.)
