What do you get when you mix one freshly crowned champion, one vengeful ex-partner, and a former tag team buddy-turned-backstabber? Apparently, you get this week’s WWE Raw, brought to you by Soap Operas for People Who Can Bench Press You.
Fresh off her Women’s Intercontinental Championship win at Money in the Bank, Becky Lynch was ready to celebrate like an Irish queen—belt in hand, enemies behind her, and vibes immaculate. But in true WWE fashion, all of that went sideways faster than a table at a Dudley Boyz family reunion.
Let’s rewind. Becky dethroned Lyra Valkyria for the title (again), then asked her to do the champion thing and raise her hand. Cute, right? Except she added a little spice: asking Valkyria to wrap the belt around her waist. Translation: “Not only did I beat you, I’d also like you to assist in your own humiliation.”
Cue Valkyria’s face-turn-heel-turn-face-again moment—delivering a Night Wing to Becky and walking out like a bitter Game of Thrones cousin denied the throne.
Then came Raw. Becky, apparently in full gaslight mode, accused Valkyria of being bitter and demanded a redo of the hand-raising ceremony like it was a formal apology tour. Valkyria did appear—probably with a steel chair in her heart—but surprise, plot twist!
BAYLEY RETURNED. And not just to wave at fans and toss a high-five. No, no. She blindsided Becky mid-ring like the world’s most aggressive brunch guest.
Becky tried to run, which WWE never lets you do effectively unless your name is Paul Heyman. And waiting for her at the ramp? Lyra Valkyria. She gave Lynch the ol’ Irish boomerang—sent her right back to the ring like, “You forgot your whooping!”
Bayley went for the Rose Plant, but Lynch pulled a full sprint into the crowd—proving once and for all that cardio is the most important wrestling move.
So here’s the current scorecard:
-
Becky: Champ, hunted, and still ducking accountability.
-
Valkyria: Looking more neutral-chaotic every week.
-
Bayley: Back from sabbatical and ready for revenge with a ponytail.
Oh, and remember: Lynch was the one who injured Bayley before WrestleMania 41 just to take her tag spot with Valkyria—then stabbed Valkyria in the back to keep the titles. Shakespeare could never.
