Folks, when it comes to Bryan Danielson, retirement is more of a suggestion than a rule. The “American Dragon” was backstage at AEW Dynamite in Phoenix, according to reports, and you know what that means—speculation is about to run wild. Will he appear? Will he wrestle? Or is he just there for the catering? Nobody knows!

PWInsider Elite says Danielson has been keeping a low profile at AEW events, which is impressive because this is a man who once made a career out of kicking people in the chest while chanting “YES!” like he was leading a democracy rally. But with AEW’s Double or Nothing officially heading to Glendale, Arizona, it does make sense for him to be around. After all, Danielson has Arizona ties—it’s where he, Brie Garcia, and their kids reside when they’re not busy being the most wholesome wrestling family in existence.

Now, as for what actually is happening on Dynamite:

  • Kris Statlander vs. Megan Bayne – Statlander might need a PowerPoint presentation on how to beat Bayne.
  • Big Bill vs. Powerhouse Hobbs (Street Fight) – Two big dudes, one street fight, and at least a 97% chance of something getting broken.
  • MJF & Hangman Adam Page Face-to-Face – Which means at least one microphone will get disrespected.
  • Orange Cassidy vs. Roderick Strong – The Revolution International Championship Series begins, and somewhere, a bracket enthusiast is very excited.

So, will Danielson pop up on TV? Or is he just there to remind Tony Khan he’s still one of the best wrestlers on the planet? Either way, expect chaos, expect drama, and expect wrestling Twitter to explode no matter what happens.
