According to Fightful Select and PW Nexus, former SmackDown Women’s Champion and three-time 24/7 Champion Carmella is no longer under WWE contract after her deal recently expired.
Carmella’s Last WWE Appearance: A Brief Return Before Disappearing Again
Carmella’s last match took place at a house show in Madison Square Garden on the Road to WrestleMania 2023. At the time, she had just returned from a long absence, only to disappear again after six weeks.
Her last televised match? A loss to Bianca Belair on WWE Raw in March 2023.
Motherhood & Health Issues: A Tough Year for Carmella
Since stepping away from WWE, Carmella and her husband, Corey Graves, welcomed their son in November 2023. However, the road to recovery has been far from easy.
Carmella revealed she has been suffering from drop foot, a condition affecting movement in her foot. On Instagram, she explained this was due to herniated discs in her back pressing on a nerve—possibly worsened by her 60-hour labor during childbirth.
