Move over, Oscars. WWE has its own gold statues, and this year’s Slammy Awards were handed out not during the holidays, but at the real end of the year: WrestleMania season, because apparently WWE’s fiscal calendar is just “WrestleMania and vibes.”

Leading the haul like a sports-entertainment vacuum cleaner was Cody Rhodes, who didn’t just finish his story—he picked up four Slammy Awards on the way out of the arena. Male Superstar of the Year? Obviously. Entrance of the Year? Of course—it’s Cody, the pyro bill alone demands recognition. He also shared Match of the Year with Roman Reigns for their WrestleMania XL Night 2 epic, and OMG Moment of the Year with John Cena, for that unforgettable moment Cena politely stabbed him in the back at Elimination Chamber.

Speaking of slammage, Drew McIntyre continued his strong run as WWE’s Great British Rage Machine by picking up three awards of his own:
🥇 Social Star of the Year (a.k.a. “guy who tweets like he’s mid-headbutt”),
🥇 Rivalry of the Year (with CM Punk, who might still be recovering), and
🥇 a shared Match of the Year win with Punk for their Bad Blood Hell in a Cell classic, aka “Therapy in a Cage.”

The Tag Team of the Year crown went to Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, finally proving that sometimes power, presence, and perfect hair can win you both championships and trophies.

Meanwhile in NXT, Roxanne Perez became the Superstar of the Year by doing what we all expected—outworking the entire roster while also still looking like she’s skipping class to win titles.

Other notable awards:
Liv Morgan took home Female Superstar of the Year (revenge tour complete).
Stephanie Vaquer snatched Breakout Superstar of the Year.
The Wyatt Sicks received WTF Moment of the Year, because nothing says “legacy reboot” like collective, on-brand confusion.
– And The OG Bloodline proved that even with rotating membership, the brand remains strong. Faction of the Year secured.

In short:
🏆 Cody finishes stories and collects trophies.
🏆 Drew wins grudges and internet polls.
🏆 Jade and Bianca are still that team.
🏆 And WWE’s “season finale” now comes with a red carpet and chaos.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
