Folks, we’re looking at maybe the biggest, most shocking, most earth-shattering rivalry in wrestling history—except for the part where they both went, “Eh, it’s fine.”

Yes, Drew McIntyre and LA Knight found themselves in a bit of a heated situation after the Royal Rumble, when McIntyre’s elimination didn’t go according to plan. Why? Because LA Knight allegedly had to hit his signature moves before Drew took a one-way trip over the ropes. The result? A backstage tantrum, some extra stiff shots on SmackDown, and, of course, the internet losing its mind.

Knight, never one to pass up an opportunity to roast a fellow superstar, addressed it on SmackDown with the brutal line:
👉 “Oh wait, I forgot to get my stuff in!” 👈

Folks, that’s what we call a receipt.

Now, did that promo and their match against Jimmy Uso get a little too real? Maybe. But according to Fightful Select, everything is cool, calm, and collected backstage. Sure, some people weren’t thrilled about the drama leaking, but at this point, WWE might as well install live cams in Gorilla and call it a day.

And let’s be honest—this “beef” just became a five-star filet mignon for WrestleMania hype. McIntyre cleanly pinned Knight on SmackDown (because of course he did) and now moves on to the Elimination Chamber with CM Punk and John Cena, aka “Two Men Who Will Probably Get Hospitalized Before WrestleMania.”

So is this actually a feud? Or is WWE just working us the way LA Knight worked Drew’s nerves at the Rumble? Either way, one thing’s for sure—McIntyre’s elimination may not have gone as planned, but this storyline is going exactly where WWE wants it to.

YEAH!

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
