Folks, the rumor mill has been spinning, but let’s clear this up: Elijah (formerly WWE’s Elias/Ezekiel) is NOT signed with AEW or ROH—at least not yet.

Despite reports suggesting he had joined Tony Khan’s Kingdom of Forbidden Door Chaos, Fightful Select confirmed he’s still a free agent.

So why did this whole rumor start? Well, blame social media. Elijah was recently spotted in a video hanging out with The Righteous, an AEW/ROH tag team known for their creepy cult vibes and questionable hygiene. That, plus his match on the Jericho Cruise, led people to assume he was All Elite. But as it turns out? He’s just vibing.

Even Dave Meltzer—who usually knows what Tony Khan had for breakfast—reported that Elijah had signed with AEW. But Fightful says otherwise. And if Tony was bringing in new guys for ROH? That would mean he’s still optimistic about getting a media rights deal for the brand (bless his heart).

Meanwhile, TNA has entered the chat.

Yes, TNA—the company that just rekindled its relationship with WWE—has reportedly shown interest in signing Elijah. And here’s the twist: Elijah himself previously said he wanted to wrestle in NJPW. (So either something changed, or he just likes to keep his options open.)

Before the Jericho Cruise match (where he lost to Tommy Billington), Elijah was mostly working the indies:

  • Lost to Red Scorpion in Italy for the Wrestling Megastar Italian Title
  • Lost the IWC Super Indy Title to Sam Holloway in Pennsylvania

Yes, that’s a lot of L’s. But hey, sometimes the road to redemption is paved with booking decisions you can’t control.

Bottom line? Elijah is still unsigned. But with TNA interested and NJPW as his personal goal, expect to see him pop up somewhere soon.
