Folks, we all know wrestling loves a good championship match. But you know what’s even better? A title vs. title match. And in a move that’s so bold even Vince McMahon might raise an eyebrow, NXT Women’s Champion Giulia has thrown down the gauntlet against NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer.

That’s right—we might be heading toward a double champ situation.

Vaquer Handles Business, Then Immediately Gets Called Out

Fresh off winning the NXT Women’s North American Championship, Stephanie Vaquer had barely settled into her title reign before getting her first defense on NXT against Karmen Petrovic. And for a moment, it looked like Petrovic might just pull off the upset—until Vaquer shut it down with a dragon screw leg whip and a package backbreaker.

A successful first defense? ✅
A well-earned celebration? ❌

Before Vaquer could even enjoy her win, Giulia came strutting down, oozing confidence and championship energy. You see, Giulia doesn’t believe in letting other people call themselves “the best” when she’s standing right there holding the top prize in the division. So she made things clear:

“You think you’re the best? Prove it.”

And just like that, Vaquer raised the stakes—not just a match, but title for title. Because why stop at one championship when you can have two?

Giulia’s Reign of Chaos

Since capturing the NXT Women’s Championship at New Year’s Evil, Giulia has been running through the competition:
✅ Beat Roxanne Perez to win the title
✅ Defended against Perez, Bayley, and Cora Jade at Vengeance Day
✅ Lasted in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble before getting eliminated by Nia Jax

Meanwhile, Vaquer has been proving she’s no slouch either, walking out of Vengeance Day with the North American Title and making a name for herself despite a Rumble elimination.

So When’s This Going Down?

Here’s the fun part: WWE hasn’t actually set a date or location for the match. But when you’ve got two champions openly calling each other out, you know it’s only a matter of time before this happens.

Will we see the first-ever double champion in NXT women’s history? Will Giulia continue her dominance? Or will Vaquer cement herself as the next top star of the brand?

One thing’s for sure: NXT is about to get even wilder.
