Folks, we’ve got ourselves another Vengeance Day triple threat! Because if one challenger was enough, WWE wouldn’t be WWE. This time, it’s NXT Women’s Champion Giulia defending against not only former champ Roxanne Perez, but also SmackDown’s own Bayley. Yes, that Bayley—the woman who tried giving Perez advice, got smacked for it, and now somehow ended up in a title match. Wrestling logic at its finest!
It all went down on NXT, where Giulia and Bayley teamed up against Perez and Cora Jade. The match ended when Bayley dropped an elbow on Jade after Giulia headbutted her into oblivion (because subtlety is for cowards). Later, General Manager Ava broke the news to an already-angry Perez: Vengeance Day will feature a triple threat match for the NXT Women’s Championship. Perez, still fuming, insisted she should be getting a one-on-one rematch, but Ava had already booked the match and walked off like a true authority figure—zero negotiation, just straight-up chaos.
So here we are: Giulia vs. Perez vs. Bayley. One of these things is not like the others (hint: it’s the multi-time main roster champion), but hey, Vengeance Day just got a whole lot more unpredictable. Will Giulia retain? Will Perez reclaim her throne? Or will Bayley add yet another championship to her legendary resume? One thing’s for sure—Washington, D.C. is about to witness some serious wrestling drama.
