Folks, you won’t believe this. You might want to sit down. Harley Cameron, yes that Harley Cameron, won a singles match on AEW television. Not AEW Dark, not a house show in a parking lot—actual, real-life, televised AEW programming. It happened on Collision, and let me tell you, Taya Valkyrie is probably still trying to figure out how.

For months, Cameron has been promising that people would “feel the wrath.” Most people assumed she meant fans forced to endure her singing, but no—she actually meant in the ring. And unfortunately for Valkyrie, she did feel the wrath, which turned out to be a good ol’ fashioned roll-up victory while Deonna Purrazzo glared from backstage like a soap opera villain plotting revenge.

This is only the third singles win of Cameron’s AEW career, which is roughly three more than most people expected. Her previous victories? One over Mafiosa (who, despite the name, does not actually run an organized crime syndicate) and another over Brittany J (who, let’s be honest, sounds like she got lost on her way to an indie pop band).

Now, Cameron has her sights set on Mercedes Mone and the AEW TBS Championship. Will she get the match? Who knows. But with Grand Slam Australia around the corner, she’s hoping to stack up enough wins to get a shot. And given that Mone had some kind words for her recently, maybe The CEO is already bracing for what it’s like to—say it with me—feel the wrath.

Or maybe she’s just being nice. Only time will tell.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
