WWE’s Royal Rumble is always good for a surprise or two, but nobody had IShowSpeed taking bumps from Bron Breakker on their 2025 bingo card.
The YouTuber, rapper, and chaotic energy ambassador made his WWE in-ring debut after Carmelo Hayes ambushed Akira Tozawa, forcing Triple H and Adam Pearce to find a last-minute replacement. Enter Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins Jr., who sprinted to the ring like he just lost a FIFA match.
The Short, Chaotic Saga of IShowSpeed in the Royal Rumble:
✔️ Helped Bron Breakker eliminate Otis, proving that social media clout can briefly translate to wrestling success.
✔️ Immediately paid for it. Breakker speared him into another dimension, then casually yeeted him over the top rope straight into Otis’ arms.
✔️ Otis, being Otis, dumped Speed onto the announce table for good measure. Because why not?
Speed’s Rumble moment was announced ahead of time, with Triple H personally inviting him. WWE fans may remember his previous appearances—helping Logan Paul at WrestleMania 40 and making a scene during the WWE Draft.
Much like Logan Paul, Speed has a massive following across YouTube and TikTok… but also a few controversies along the way. Will WWE use him again after this viral moment? Or was this just a one-and-done trip into suplex city? Time will tell.
