The skies have opened, and a new champion has landed!
IYO SKY pulled off a massive upset on WWE Raw, dethroning Rhea Ripley to become the new WWE Women’s World Champion in a wild, high-stakes main event. The match had it all—jaw-dropping moves, near falls, a WrestleMania-level atmosphere, and, of course, Bianca Belair accidentally causing maximum chaos at ringside.
The Match: A Fight for the Ages
Ripley came in 56 days into her second reign and 46 days away from defending against Bianca Belair at WrestleMania. But instead of cruising into Hollywood with the gold, she found herself in the fight of her life against SKY.
IYO, clearly missing her Damage CTRL buddies, decided to borrow their moves like she was running a tribute tour:

Not to be outdone, Ripley proved why she’s been the most dominant champion in recent history, surviving an Over The Moonsault by barely getting her foot on the ropes. But then… things got messy.
Belair’s “Support” Costs Ripley Everything
Belair, sitting ringside to scout her WrestleMania opponent, cheered for IYO a little too enthusiastically. Ripley, in classic “I don’t have time for this” fashion, got in Belair’s face and even shoved her over.
This led to Belair yanking Ripley back onto the apron, nearly causing a disqualification. As the referee sorted out the drama, Ripley refocused and went for the kill—attempting a super Riptide from the top rope while throwing some shade at Belair.
Big mistake.
