Jey Uso is officially taking his “Yeet Movement” to the biggest stage of them all—WrestleMania 41—where he’ll once again challenge GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship.
After surviving 29 other superstars to win the Royal Rumble, Uso wasted no time on WWE Raw confirming that he wants another shot at “The Ring General”—even though history suggests this is the wrestling equivalent of challenging a grizzly bear to a slap fight.
Raw Kicked Off With a Beatdown, Because of Course It Did
Jey Uso started the night as he often does—hyped up and “yeeting” with the fans—until GUNTHER decided to remind him that celebrations in WWE usually end in violence.
- As Uso stood on the announce desk, GUNTHER blindsided him with a brutal attack.
- The brawl spilled into the ring, where GUNTHER did what GUNTHER does best—dropping Uso like a bad habit.
- Security tried to break it up, because apparently, they forgot how that usually goes.
With GUNTHER standing at the top of the ramp, barking insults, Uso grabbed a mic, pulled himself up on the ropes, and made it official: “I’ll see you at WrestleMania.”
This prompted GUNTHER to storm back to the ring, but Uso wasn’t done flying around yet—taking out the champ and half of security with a massive dive over the top rope.
A WrestleMania Rematch with Higher Stakes
This isn’t the first time Uso and GUNTHER have clashed—their last battle for the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event in January saw Uso putting on a valiant fight, only for GUNTHER to hit back-to-back powerbombs and pin him into oblivion.
Now, Uso gets his redemption shot at WrestleMania. But can he finally overcome “The Ring General,” or will this be another painful lesson in why chopping contests with GUNTHER never end well?
