Megan Bayne just suplexed, slammed, and steamrolled her way into an AEW Women’s World Championship match, and if you thought Toni Storm was going to just gracefully accept this development, you clearly haven’t been paying attention.

Bayne Bulldozes Statlander, Storm Gets Handsy

In the AEW Dynamite main event, Megan Bayne defeated Kris Statlander in a power-packed showdown to officially earn a shot at Toni Storm’s AEW Women’s World Championship.

Statlander and Bayne traded big-time suplexes like they were playing a game of human Jenga, with Bayne hitting a Falcon Arrow that somehow did not end the match. Statlander answered back with a cannonball dive to the outside, but that move backfired harder than a bad Hollywood reboot when Bayne sent her crashing directly into Toni Storm at ringside.

From there, Bayne sealed the deal with an F5 that would make Brock Lesnar proud, getting the pin and officially lining up a one-way trip to Dynasty.

Storm vs. Bayne: A Battle… and a Brawl

Storm—who was on commentary, likely debating whether she was watching a wrestling match or an audition for her next “Timeless” masterpiece—did not take kindly to being used as a crash pad. Once back on her feet, Storm started wrapping her right hand like she was about to challenge Bayne to a 1920s-style boxing match. And then, with zero hesitation, she started throwing hands at her new #1 contender.

Officials rushed in to separate the two before AEW needed to file an insurance claim, but Storm wasn’t done. Microphone in hand, she laid into Bayne with a series of suggestive quips before making it official:

The only question now is: Will Bayne’s power be enough to overcome the “Timeless” champion’s tricks? Or will Storm find a way to flip the script on another challenger?
