Meiko Satomura, aka “The Final Boss,” is reportedly making a stop at Madison Square Garden’s Theater for WWE NXT Roadblock – her first NXT appearance in exactly two years.
With her retirement tour in full swing, Satomura has been treating Japanese and UK fans to farewell performances. Now, according to Fightful Select, she’s in the U.S., potentially to appear at NXT Roadblock. But will it be just a cameo, or something more?
Why is Satomura Back?
- Jordynne Grace recently posted a photo with Satomura, confirming she was stateside.
- WWE shared footage of her at the Performance Center, alongside NXT Women’s Champion Giulia and powerhouse Yoshiki Inamura.
- The timing is suspicious. Two years ago, Satomura challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at Roadblock. Now she’s back on the same stage, at the same event.
Could Satomura Wrestle One More Time in WWE?
Satomura hasn’t wrestled in WWE since July 2024, when she competed in three matches on a Japan live event tour. With her final match scheduled for next month in Sendai Girls Pro Wrestling, could NXT Roadblock be her farewell to WWE?
If so, who steps up? Giulia? Jordynne Grace? A mystery opponent? Or is she just here to remind the NXT locker room who the real Final Boss is?
