Harley Cameron Sings, Mone Slaps, and a Title Match is Born
If you had “Harley Cameron gets a TBS Title shot” on your AEW bingo card, congratulations—you’re either a psychic or you read Mone’s digital newsletter religiously.
On Saturday’s AEW Collision, Mercedes Mone finally accepted Cameron’s challenge after weeks of avoiding her. But, in true Harley Cameron fashion, this wasn’t your standard wrestling callout—it was a musical number.
Yes, folks, “Harley Halftime in Houston” gave us a live performance of Mone Train, a song so catchy that Mone herself was almost vibing—until Cameron took things too far. After Cameron belted out a final verse about how the most entertaining Mone has ever been was when she had her “hand up a puppet ass,” Mone responded the only way a wrestling champion should: with a slap.
Cameron, unfazed, screamed “Feel the Wrath!” and mic-checked Mone right in the face, sending the TBS Champ rolling out of the ring. Furious but impressed (or just concussed), Mone finally agreed to the match, putting her title on the line in Brisbane at AEW Grand Slam: Australia.
From Puppet Master to Championship Contender
Cameron getting a title shot might surprise some, considering she just recently picked up her first AEW win. But it makes sense when you consider:
✅ Mone has been hyping Cameron up in her Mone Mag newsletter since last year.
✅ Cameron has been gaining traction with her comedy and musical performances.
✅ AEW Grand Slam: Australia is all about highlighting homegrown talent.
Will Cameron’s antics and microphone swings be enough to dethrone Mone? Or will the champ teach the challenger that the only thing harder than making a hit song is taking a hit in the ring?
