Mina Shirakawa, the pink champagne-popping, heart-hammering former STARDOM standout, has officially declared herself All Elite. After months of flirting with AEW storylines like your ex lurking in your Instagram views, Mina has now made it official: she’s moving in full-time.
“I, Shirakawa Mina, will be leaving STARDOM… I will be joining AEW.”
And just like that, the emotional cherry blossom goodbye became a full-on AEW signing. No cryptic tweets. No mysterious backstage sightings. Just a formal farewell with tears, thanks, and a mic drop of dream-chasing ambition.
Shirakawa first touched AEW soil in April 2024, defeating Anna Jay on Dynamite in a match that had more glamour than a Vegas red carpet. From there, she quickly got swept into the cinematic storm of “Timeless” Toni Storm and Mariah May, turning the women’s division into the most elegant soap opera this side of HBO.
She challenged Storm at Forbidden Door and May at Winter Is Coming, but fell just short both times—though no one’s entrance gear looked better in the process.
Then in January, Shirakawa doubled down on the drama, stepping into the Tokyo spotlight against Mercedes Moné at Wrestle Dynasty in a cross-promotional supermatch. Both the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship and Mina’s RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Title were on the line. Spoiler: Moné cashed in with the win, but made it clear post-match—this rivalry isn’t over.
Unfortunately, Shirakawa left that bout with an injury. But in true Mina fashion, she healed up, dusted off the glitter, and is now poised to step back into AEW as a full-time threat—and possibly, the next disruption to Mariah May’s ever-fragile emotional balance.
This isn’t just another roster signing. This is AEW getting:
-
A global star
-
A STARDOM veteran
-
A storytelling specialist
-
And possibly the only wrestler who can match Toni Storm’s drama-per-second ratio
It’s Mina Time. And this time, it’s permanent.
