Folks, AEW Revolution just got a whole lot more personal. The match is official: MJF vs. Hangman Adam Page. Two of AEW’s original stars, two men who have spent years taking subtle (and not-so-subtle) shots at each other, are about to throw down on March 9.

MJF: “Hangman Stole My Moment!”

During AEW Dynamite, MJF reminded everyone that he totally had the 2019 Casino Battle Royal won at Double or Nothing, but then Hangman Page cheap-shotted him to steal the victory. Instead of getting a shot at AEW’s first-ever world title, MJF had to grind his way to the top, defeating some of the biggest names in wrestling to become the longest-reigning AEW World Champion (something he’ll remind you of every five seconds).

Hangman: “Don’t Disrespect Christopher Daniels!”

Things escalated when MJF mocked Hangman for effectively retiring Christopher Daniels, which sent Page into full rage mode. If Daniels himself hadn’t stepped in, we might’ve gotten the match right there and then. Instead, security once again had to keep these two apart, because AEW security loves a challenge.

The Stats Going Into the Match:

  • MJF and Hangman Page have only wrestled one singles match before (2019, MJF won).
  • Hangman is undefeated in singles competition since November 2023.
  • MJF is undefeated since August 2023.
  • Both men are walking into Revolution with something to prove.

Bottom line? This isn’t just a match—it’s about history, grudges, and cowboy-infused violence. Get ready.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
