Jade Cargill had the match won. The crowd knew it. Commentary knew it. Even Tiffany Stratton’s pink highlights knew it. But Naomi had other plans—and those plans involved wrecking Cargill’s night harder than a surprise group project in high school.

In the main event of WWE SmackDown, Cargill and Nia Jax clashed to determine the next challenger for Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Women’s Championship. After taking Charlotte Flair down a few pegs earlier in the night with the now-legendary line “Get to the back of the line,” Jade came in hot, looking to make it two-for-two.

🚨 Interference Alert: Naomi’s Turn to Heel?

Midway through the match, Tiffany Stratton sat ringside like the homecoming queen watching two prom rivals fight over her tiara. Jade was dominating—Samoan Drop? Landed. Pump kick? Blasted. Frog Splash? Frogged. But then Naomi appeared like an unexpected plot twist in a soap opera.

Instead of helping Jade, Naomi went straight for Stratton and attacked her at ringside—which would’ve made sense if the match was no-DQ or if Naomi wasn’t Cargill’s friend. But the distraction gave Nia enough time to flatten Cargill with a senton, followed by the An-NIA-lator, because someone in catering said, “You know what this match needs? Betrayal!”

🛑 Stratton Smiles, Jax Steps Up

Tiffany, ever the sparkle-covered opportunist, cheered from a safe distance as Jade’s title hopes got steamrolled. This marks Cargill’s second loss to Nia Jax in singles action, making Jax the unofficial Queen of Wrecking Jade’s Vibe.

The Jax vs. Stratton match hasn’t been announced for Backlash (yet), but fans are expecting a title showdown to take place on either a future SmackDown or the increasingly chaotic Saturday Night’s Main Event on NBC.
