At NXT Stand & Deliver, the final match was as explosive as the Las Vegas skyline—and Oba Femi walked out still NXT Champion, proving once again that when “The Ruler” steps in the ring, gravity bends and challengers break.

Facing both Trick Williams, the former champ and swagger incarnate, and Je’Von Evans, the high-flying “Young OG,” Femi weathered a storm of cutters, top-rope chaos, and barricade-breaking dives to retain his gold.

Let’s break it down like the announce desk (RIP).

The Action Started Hot:

  • Evans, being the smallest (but fastest) man in the match, tried to instigate chaos early—dodging a double collision between Trick and Oba, and attempting a quick cutter.

  • Femi caught him mid-air like a basketball, signaling that physics would not be on anyone’s side but his tonight.

Mid-Match Mayhem:

  • Evans connected with a frog splash on Femi. The champ kicked out at one and tried to chokeslam him through the mat.

  • Multiple cutters, springboards, and slams later, Femi still refused to stay down.

  • Trick accidentally took out the ref, because of course.

  • Femi sent Evans flying through the barricade, then ate a Rock Bottom through the announce desk from Trick that had Las Vegas shaking (and Booker T yelling unintelligibly).

Final Sequence:

  • Trick tried to capitalize, hitting a Trick Shot on Evans. The ref staggered back in—but Femi pulled him back out, denying the count like a sovereign blocking a peasant’s request.

  • Evans returned with a double cutter, then dodged Femi into another Trick Shot.

  • BUT THEN—Femi rose like a final boss, dropped Trick with a Fall From Grace, and then powerbombed Evans into next week for the pinfall.

Oba Femi retains.
The NXT Title stays where it is.
And if you were wondering whether Femi is the real deal—ask the announce desk. Or the barricade. Or anyone in the front row who just watched two elite athletes get dropped like WiFi in a concrete bunker.
