There are pep talks, and then there are Undertaker pep talks—the kind that make you question your mortality before reminding you that you’re the baddest man in the room.

At WWE NXT Roadblock, NXT Champion Oba Femi got a backstage visit from none other than The Phenom himself, The Undertaker. Now, when the Deadman pulls you aside for some career advice, you don’t just listen—you absorb his wisdom like it’s the last ride of your life.

“I’ve been watching you for a while now, and I gotta tell you, I’m impressed,” said The Undertaker, in what must have felt like getting knighted in the realm of wrestling.
“I don’t need to tell you how important this match is tonight. What I will tell you is to go out there and defend your yard. Get you some.”

Let’s be honest—if The Undertaker tells you to “get you some,” you get you some.

Femi vs. Moose: When Femi Took ‘Defend Your Yard’ Literally

Femi didn’t just retain his title—he survived a war against TNA Wrestling’s Moose, a man who clearly thought Roadblock was a demolition derby.

  • Moose threw Femi into a steel ring post, which is wrestling’s equivalent of getting T-boned in traffic.
  • He then chokeslammed him through the commentary table, ensuring at least three announcers had PTSD flashbacks to The Dudley Boyz era.
  • Back in the ring, Moose nearly ended it with a spear that could have split the ring in half.

But guess what? Oba Femi don’t stay down.

After kicking out like a true champion, Femi channeled every ounce of Undertaker-given motivation and powerbombed Moose straight into next week for the win.

The Aftermath: Who’s Next for Femi?

With this victory, Femi continues his dominant reign as NXT Champion, extending a title run that began in January when he defeated Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe. Meanwhile, Moose returns to TNA with his X-Division Championship, probably needing a week of ice baths before stepping back in the ring.

Oh, and let’s not forget—The Hardys also walked out of Roadblock with their TNA Tag Team Titles intact after outlasting NXT Tag Champs Axiom & Nathan Frazer. What a night for cross-promotional championship action!

One thing is clear: Oba Femi just got the Deadman’s stamp of approval. And in wrestling, that’s worth more than any championship.
