Folks, the world is in crisis. Up is down, left is right, and John Cena is the bad guy now. But while the WWE Universe may have begrudgingly accepted this shocking heel turn, there’s one man who simply cannot compute what’s happening: R-Truth.

Cena’s villainous speech on WWE Raw in Brussels—where he whined about two decades of being bullied and basically broke up with the fans—led to a chorus of “CENA SUCKS” chants from the crowd. And that? That did not sit well with R-Truth.

In response to WWE’s post on X (formerly known as Twitter), the former 24/7 Champion (and eternal Champion of Our Hearts) posted the most heartbreaking tweet of the year:

“Something’s wrong… Why is everyone turning on my childhood hero @JohnCena?”

TRUTH. IS. STRUGGLING.

Ever since Cena’s shocking heel turn at Elimination Chamber, Truth has been going through the five stages of grief in real time. First, denial (“This can’t be real”). Then, bargaining (“Maybe he’s just having a bad day”). Then, acceptance (well, sort of) by telling fans he’s “trying to stay positive.” But now? He’s back to full-blown crisis mode.

Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes isn’t exactly offering a shoulder to cry on—he showed up on Raw and threatened to retire Cena early at WrestleMania 41. Cena, of course, will continue making his case to fans over the next two weeks on Raw in Glasgow, Scotland, and London, England.

But will he ever win back his #1 fan, R-Truth? Stay tuned.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
