Folks, we might be witnessing a changing of the guard. Roxanne Perez, the so-called “Prodigy,” just pinned Bayley—yes, THAT Bayley—on SmackDown, proving that her hot streak is more than just beginner’s luck.

Heading into the Women’s Elimination Chamber match, Perez teamed up with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to take on Bianca Belair, Naomi, and Bayley in a 6-Woman Tag Team match. And while the match was an all-out chaos fest (because of course it was), Perez walked away with the biggest scalp of her career.

Roxanne vs. Bayley: The Finish That Shocked the WWE Universe

The match kicked off with Naomi and Morgan locking up, but within minutes, all six women were throwing hands like they were fighting over the last Black Friday TV. Tag-ins were flying, alliances were tested, and the momentum swung like a wrecking ball.

But then came the moment that changed the game:

After Liv Morgan saved Perez from getting pinned, Perez went for Pop Rox but got caught mid-move by Bayley, who nearly flattened her with a Bayley-to-Belly. But Perez—quick as ever—escaped, chopped Bayley’s knee, and nailed Pop Rox anyway!

One. Two. Three. Bayley, a Grand Slam Women’s Champion, pinned clean in the middle of the ring.

Perez’s Celebration Cut Short by… Alexa Bliss?

If that wasn’t enough drama, Alexa Bliss had to remind everyone that she still lurks in the shadows. Just as Perez was soaking in the victory, Bliss delivered a surprise Sister Abigail, sending a chilling message ahead of the Chamber match.

Still, the win is official, and it adds another highlight to Perez’s rapidly growing resume. She’s already a two-time NXT Women’s Champion, holds the record for the longest time spent in a Women’s Royal Rumble (1 hour, 7 minutes), and is about to make her Elimination Chamber debut.

Will this momentum carry her all the way to a WrestleMania title shot? We’ll find out Saturday. But if tonight proved anything, it’s this: Roxanne Perez belongs in the big leagues.
