In a match that looked more like a tag team break-up in slow motion, Roxanne Perez pulled off the most respectful backstab in recent WWE memory, securing her spot in the next round of the Queen of the Ring Tournament on Raw.

The opening fatal four-way featured Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, Kairi Sane, and Perez—a lineup that screamed “this will not end civilly.” But it started civilly, with Perez giving Morgan a friendly warning backstage:

“Let’s not get in each other’s way.”
Translation: “Let me win, or I’ll win anyway.”

Things broke down fast (because duh). Morgan and Ripley immediately clashed like it was a leftover Judgment Day grudge buffet. But shockingly, Perez jumped in to save Morgan from a RipTide, setting off a short-lived alliance of convenience, capped by a very satisfying Code Breaker–German Suplex combo on Ripley. Kairi Sane then tried to intervene via crossbody, but was caught and recycled like a human Frisbee.

While Morgan and Perez kept doing teamwork cosplay, Ripley caught Morgan’s Ob-LIV-ion and countered it into a RipTide—with the pin attempt ripped away by surprise guest star Raquel Rodriguez, fresh off a grudge subscription plan with Ripley.

That chaos spilled to the outside where Kairi Sane turned full kamikaze—nailing an InSane Elbow from the top rope on both Ripley and Rodriguez, who weren’t even in the match anymore (rules are just suggestions at this point). Sane went back up top to hit another InSane Elbow on Morgan, but as she went for the pin…
Perez struck.
Sneaky. Sudden. Savage.
Stole the pin. Stole the win. Didn’t even break a sweat.

Backstage, Perez celebrated with Judgment Day (because sure, why not now). Then Morgan walked in. Cue the most awkward silence this side of a holiday dinner with both exes present.

Perez: “I was saving you from being pinned.”
Morgan: 😐

This isn’t just Queen of the Ring. This is Mean Girls: Performance Center Edition.
