In a twist more evasive than a midcard heel in a backstage segment, TNA star Ryan Nemeth has voluntarily dismissed his lawsuit against AEW — not because he lost, not because he won, but because… everyone’s going to private arbitration now. That’s right, folks. No public court drama. Just confidential finger-pointing behind closed doors.

According to POST Wrestling, the paperwork shuffle began late last week:

  • Nemeth filed to dismiss his lawsuit on Friday.

  • AEW filed to cancel their arbitration petition on Monday.

  • And just when you thought someone blinked — nope, Nemeth’s lawyer says there’s been no settlement… just a mutual decision to argue privately, like a couple who chooses therapy over throwing dishes.

Let’s recap what this case even was:
Nemeth accused AEW, Tony Khan, and CM Punk of trying to blackball him from wrestling, which is ironic, because getting booked at TNA is already sort of that. The case had been moving fast while other AEW-related lawsuits (👀 Kevin Kelly, 👀 Tate Twins) remain stuck like a promo with too many bullet points.

But now? It’s arbitration time, baby — where the robes are metaphorical, the hearings are hush-hush, and the outcome is probably sealed tighter than MJF’s skincare routine.

The filings were made “without prejudice,” which is legalese for “we’re not done with you yet,” meaning either side can drag this mess back into court if the arbitration goes sideways — or if Punk tweets something passive-aggressive.

Speaking of CM Punk, while not the star of the show here, he’s definitely listed in the credits. Nemeth’s lawsuit named him directly, claiming he and Khan tried to shut Nemeth out of the wrestling world. So you just know Punk is somewhere breathing a temporary sigh of relief, possibly while sipping a Pepsi and blocking someone on Instagram.
