It’s official: Seth Rollins, WWE’s Monday Night Messiah and long-standing Chicago Bears superfan, is stepping onto the turf of football’s most sacred ground — not to cut a promo, but to announce one of the Bears’ seven draft picks at the 2025 NFL Draft, held in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Because if there’s anything Rollins loves more than mind games and sequined suits, it’s reminding Packers fans that the Bears still matter.
The news broke courtesy of X user Paddy Pitts, who posted a phone-captured interview between Rollins and UFC legend Daniel Cormier during WrestleMania 41 week. While throwing shade at Roman Reigns and CM Punk, Rollins casually dropped the Bears bombshell. The crowd popped like he just hit a stomp on Lambeau Field itself.
When Cormier pointed out the irony of a “wrestling heel” showing loyalty to a team, Rollins doubled down.
“I do like the Bears.”
No hesitation. No fear. No cheeseheads allowed.
Of course, this isn’t Rollins’ first act of gridiron devotion. The Iowa native (yes, technically Packers-adjacent land) has long worn his Bears heart on his spandex sleeve. From sideline appearances to social media roasts, to teasing a Bears-themed podcast earlier this year, Seth is what happens when football passion meets sports entertainment ego.
The NFL Draft will take place from April 24–26 at Lambeau Field, a location so sacred to Packers fans that the idea of Rollins — possibly in a full Bears cape — announcing a pick there feels spiritually illegal.
No word yet on which pick Rollins will announce (we’re praying for Day 2 drama), but rest assured:
There will be fireworks.
There will be fur coats.
And somewhere, a Green Bay fan will cry into their bratwurst.
