In yet another display of anti-gravity nonsense and “I do my own stunts” energy, Sol Ruca has officially qualified for the WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship ladder match at Stand & Deliver. That’s right—six women, one ladder, one title, zero chill.

The match came together after General Manager Ava gave Stephanie Vaquer the “Congrats on being too good at wrestling, now hand over that belt” treatment. Vaquer, now a double champion (and presumably triple-booked), vacated the North American title, prompting the setup of a high-stakes, six-woman ladder match to crown a new champ.

Last week, Kelani Jordan and Zaria punched their golden tickets. This week, it was Sol Ruca’s turn, but first came some light Fatal Influence drama—because no women’s storyline is complete without a backstage squabble. Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne were ready to throw hands over who should compete when Jazmyn Nyx channeled her inner main character energy, stood up, and basically said, “I volunteer as tribute.”

And for a hot minute, it looked like she was about to Katniss her way into the ladder match. Nyx had Ruca in a tight submission, then nailed her with a Nyx Kick after some ringside ruckus. Crowd was tense. Cameras were shaking. One guy in row 4 passed out from stress. But Sol Ruca kicked out at two-point-nine-infinity, landed an enzuigiri that came from another dimension, and hit the Sol Snatcher like the ring was on fast-forward.

Pinfall. Qualification secured. Somewhere backstage, Isaac Newton is sobbing softly.

Later in the night, The Culling’s Izzi Dame secured the fourth spot by dropping Wren Sinclair like a bag of expired protein powder with a devastating sit-out spinebuster. Now only two slots remain, and one more NXT episode to fill them. The tension? Thick. The drama? Palpable. The ladder? Standing by.
