Well folks, The Rock might not have been in the SmackDown arena, but he still managed to steal the show from an airport parking lot. And in classic “Final Boss” fashion, he didn’t just send a message—he sent a brand-new truck and a contract for Cody Rhodes’ soul.

Yes, his actual soul. Because apparently, WrestleMania season has taken a sharp left turn into supernatural negotiations.

Cody’s Big Decision: A Truck, A Belt, and A Soul on the Line

Friday’s SmackDown main event wasn’t a match—it was a meeting of the minds. Cody Rhodes joined Michael Cole in the ring to process The Rock’s cryptic offer from last week: Forget chasing Roman Reigns and instead become “The Final Boss’” personal champion.

Before Cody could answer, a surprise delivery arrived:

🚘 A brand-new red Ford Raptor Ranger, customized with “American Nightmare” branding. Because nothing says, “Join me, Cody” like a fully loaded pickup.

As Cody admired his new wheels, The Rock appeared on the Titan Tron, live from his truck at an airport, looking like a man about to board a private jet to another blockbuster payday.

  • He told Cody to enjoy his truck, casually dropping a “Dusty roads” pun because wordplay is part of his attack strategy.
  • Then things got weird. The Rock claimed he had been talking to Cody’s late father, Dusty Rhodes, all week. How? Unclear.
  • He revealed a second gift—a custom weight belt with the words “Cody’s Soul” and Dusty’s date of passing. Chilling, unnecessary, and also very Rock-like.

The Rock, sounding like a supervillain who just unlocked his final form, then demanded Cody give him his soul and not “break his heart” the way Dusty did.

And with that, The Rock vanished like a Hollywood apparition, leaving Cody standing in the ring with a truck, a weight belt, and an existential crisis.

What Happens at Elimination Chamber?

This Saturday, Cody finally responds to The Rock face-to-face. Will he accept the deal? Will he fight back? Will The Rock start demanding people’s souls as a contractual clause?

One thing is for sure: The Final Boss is playing mind games—and Cody might not be ready for the next level.
