This Friday on SmackDown, three men with unresolved issues, overlapping grudges, and one shared ego problem will attempt to sit at a table and “sign something.” What could go wrong?

CM Punk. Roman Reigns. Seth Rollins. One contract. And approximately zero percent chance this ends peacefully.

Punk delivered the news during WWE Raw, standing alone in the ring like a man who just discovered the comment section. He opened up with some vintage pipe bomb vibes, casually referencing “working with children” in a not-so-veiled jab that felt very All Out 2022, minus the muffins.

Then came the shots:

  • Rollins? “Personal.”

  • Reigns? “Just business.”

  • Paul Heyman? Allegedly Switzerland, but also possibly on Roman’s group text.

According to Punk, neither Reigns nor Rollins has ever beaten him without a little help—and he’s got the receipts. He beat Rollins in January, but Reigns returned the favor last week by helping Rollins win a Steel Cage match. A true circle of superkicks and shady assists.

This trifecta of dysfunction already spilled over last week with a triple brawl, and now, we’re headed toward the most combustible contract signing since that time somebody brought a pen to a Lesnar match.

The stakes? WrestleMania. The mood? Volatile. The table? Probably not lasting five minutes.

Let’s review the triangle of trust issues:

  • Punk and Reigns fought side-by-side at War Games…until Punk eliminated Reigns at the Royal Rumble.

  • Rollins stomped Reigns just for funsies after.

  • Heyman’s face throughout all of this? Pure meme fuel.

Now the trio reconvenes Friday to sign the dotted line—or flip the table in unison. Either way, SmackDown is about to get louder than a pipe bomb in a press conference.
