History has been made, darlings.
At AEW Grand Slam Australia, Toni Storm cemented her legacy, defeating Mariah May to become the first-ever four-time AEW Women’s World Champion. And she did it in her homeland, under the bright lights of Brisbane, with Luther back by her side for the grand reintroduction of Timeless Toni Storm.
Mariah May may have walked in as champion, but she walked out with 174 days of history and no title to show for it.
Storm vs. May II: A Role Reversal and a War
Their first encounter at All In last August saw Storm as champion and May as the challenger. This time, the roles were reversed—but the result? The same.
- The match kicked off with an intense stare-down, a moment dripping in drama fit for Hollywood (or at least an award-winning silent film).
- Things turned violent quickly, spilling outside the ring, where May threw Storm into the guardrails and pressed her advantage.
- Storm fought back, hitting her signature Hip Attack, nearly sealing the victory.
- May feigned being out, lured Storm in, and nearly stole the win. But when frustration got the best of her, she turned her anger to the referee—a classic mistake.
And that was all the opening Timeless Toni needed.
One Storm Zero should have ended it, but May rolled out of the ring just in time. When she re-entered, Storm caught her with a perfectly timed roll-up—ONE. TWO. THREE.

🎭 The Timeless Era resumes. 🎭
What’s Next?
Toni Storm now stands alone as the only four-time AEW Women’s World Champion. The Timeless era has been reborn, but will May demand a rematch? Or does a new contender step forward to challenge the queen of the silver screen?
Either way, this is Storm’s world now, and we’re just living in it.
