Folks, get ready, because Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe are about to throw hands in a way that would make Fight Club look like a book club. In two weeks, these two rivals will settle their score in an NXT Underground match—where the only way out is knockout or submission. No pinfalls, no count-outs, just pure, unfiltered carnage.

Williams came into this week’s NXT with one thing on his mind: violence. After absolutely dismantling Kale Dixon via referee stoppage (because clearly, just winning wasn’t enough), Trick grabbed the mic and called out Thorpe. Never one to back down, Thorpe appeared and challenged him to a fight that involves less wrestling and more survival instincts. Trick, never one to turn down a challenge, accepted. And just like that, we’ve got ourselves a match.

A Rivalry Built on Chaos

Williams and Thorpe’s feud started back in December when Thorpe, in a masterclass of sneakiness, faked an injury to avoid the Iron Survivor Challenge—only to slither his way into a title match against Trick. That match ended in absolute controversy, a double-pin draw that forced Thorpe into Williams’ title defense against Oba Femi at New Year’s Evil. Spoiler alert: Femi won, and Trick lost his title.

Fast forward to Vengeance Day, where these two tore each other apart in a Strap Match, which Thorpe won after a low blow. (Because why win clean when you can win dirty, right?) Now, Trick is looking for revenge in a match that completely removes luck from the equation.

Experience vs. The Unknown

This will be Trick Williams’ first time fighting under Underground rules. Meanwhile, Eddy Thorpe is undefeated in this environment, holding victories over Damon Kemp and Donovan Dijak in 2023. That makes Thorpe the favorite—on paper. But Trick Williams is a guy who thrives under pressure. And with revenge on his mind? Expect fireworks.

No ropes, no rules, and no excuses. In two weeks, one man walks out victorious—the other might not walk out at all.
