Folks, Toronto is about to get a double dose of Stratusfaction. That’s right—Trish Stratus is back, and she’s bringing her hometown pop with her!

The WWE Hall of Famer isn’t just showing up for the Elimination Chamber premium live event this Saturday. No, no. She’s making her presence felt early by appearing on SmackDown this Friday at Scotiabank Arena—because if you’re going to make a comeback, you might as well make two in the same weekend.

And she announced it in the most Trish way possible: a simple post on X (Twitter), featuring her and the SmackDown logo, with a confident “See you in Toronto!”

That’s right, folks. No frills. No gimmicks. Just pure Stratusfaction.

Stratus & Stratton vs. Jax & LeRae—The Unlikely Alliance

Trish won’t just be in Toronto to wave at the crowd and soak in the applause. Nope—she’s lacing up the boots once again at Elimination Chamber, where she’ll be teaming up with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton against Nia Jax & Candice LeRae.

How did this all come together? Well, it all started at the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, where:
Trish eliminated Candice LeRae.
Nia Jax immediately eliminated Trish.
Karma? A little.

From there, Jax & LeRae started making life miserable for Tiffany Stratton, and who stepped up to even the odds? That’s right—Trish Stratus. Because sometimes, all a Women’s Champion needs is a Hall of Famer backup plan.

The First Toronto Match in 5 Years

While Trish has wrestled in Canada throughout 2023 (including Ottawa, Laval, and Winnipeg), this is her first match in her hometown since 2019—when she took on Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam.

Now, she’s hoping history doesn’t repeat itself, because last time, Charlotte got the W.

But this time, Trish has the home-field advantage. And when it comes to Toronto, the crowd is guaranteed to lose its mind the second that iconic theme music hits.

So, will Trish and Tiffany send Jax & LeRae packing? Or will Nia prove that she’s not just the biggest force in the match, but the one who spoils homecomings?

One thing’s for sure—Toronto is about to get Stratusfied.
