Folks, get ready to bow down to the Queen of Canadian Wrestling, because Trish Stratus is stepping back into the ring at Elimination Chamber! That’s right—Toronto’s favorite WWE Hall of Famer is dusting off the boots, fixing her iconic hat, and teaming up with none other than Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton.

How Did We Get Here?

Well, it all started on SmackDown when Candice LeRae decided that ruining Tiffany Stratton’s title defense against Nia Jax was a great idea. Because if you can’t win a championship, you might as well make sure no one else does either. The DQ finish left Jax so furious she went full “An-NIA-lator” mode, obliterating Stratton for sport.

Cue Trish Stratus, making the save like a true Canadian hero—except it went about as well as a Leafs playoff run. Trish got wiped out, again proving that helping people in WWE is the fastest way to get bodied. And just when things couldn’t get more chaotic, Charlotte Flair popped up to remind the world that, as the Royal Rumble winner, she’s challenging Stratton at WrestleMania 41.

But before we get there, we’ve got business in Toronto. Later backstage, Trish and Tiffany agreed to team up against Jax and LeRae at Elimination Chamber.

Why This Matters

  • Trish’s First Match Since Payback 2023 – Last time she was in action, Becky Lynch handed her a brutal loss inside a Steel Cage.
  • First Tag Match Since Turning on Becky Lynch – Remember when Trish betrayed Becky after subbing in for Lita? Good times.
  • First Match in Toronto Since 2019 – The last time Trish wrestled in her hometown, she lost to Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2019. Can she rewrite history this time?

So, will this be a Stratusfying homecoming, or will Trish end up as just another casualty of Jax and LeRae’s destruction tour? Either way, Toronto is getting a show.
