The Digital Warrior Rides Again
Good news, AEW fans: Tony Khan’s favorite glitch in the wrestling system is back!
On Saturday’s AEW Collision, the masked luchador Hologram made his long-awaited return, assisting Komander in a wild brawl against La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dralistico, and The Beast Mortos). And because nothing in wrestling is cooler than a dramatic comeback, Hologram didn’t just walk down the ramp like a normal human—he digitally materialized through a portal with the words “Upgrade Complete” flashing across the screen.
We don’t know if Hologram is running on AI or just pure lucha magic, but one thing is clear—he’s still undefeated, and now he’s back in action.
Komander Calls for Backup, Hologram Answers
Komander wasn’t even booked for Collision, but when LFI started demolishing their opponents post-match, he ran down to even the odds. Unfortunately, three-on-one isn’t exactly fair, and Rush’s crew had him cornered—until Hologram emerged from cyberspace (or catering, who knows?) to turn the tide.
Hologram and Komander brawled with Mortos and Dralistico to the back, leaving Rush in the ring to take his frustrations out on an innocent referee. Classic Rush behavior.
Where Has Hologram Been?
This was Hologram’s first AEW appearance in four months, his last match being against Mortos at AEW WrestleDream. According to reports, his absence was due to an ankle injury suffered in that match, followed by some even bigger life news—his wife gave birth at the end of 2024. (Congratulations to Hologram—assuming babies don’t break kayfabe.)
Now, fully upgraded and ready for action, Hologram is back, and LFI may have just become his next major problem.
