Folks, this wasn’t just a wrestling match—this was a horror movie with turnbuckles.

At AEW Revolution, Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher entered a steel cage, but by the time it was over, it looked more like a crime scene than a wrestling ring.

This wasn’t about titles. This wasn’t about rankings. This was personal. And by the time the dust settled, Ospreay stood victorious, but both men left looking like they had barely survived a war.

We Start On the Cage… and Things Get Worse From There

Because normal people start a cage match inside the cage. But not these two.

Instead, Ospreay and Fletcher started their battle ON TOP of the cage, exchanging glares before immediately beating the absolute hell out of each other.

And then, things got gruesome.

Fletcher’s First Blood, Barbed Wire, and Betrayal

Fletcher busted Ospreay open first—then LICKED HIS BLOOD.
Mark Davis cut the cage lock, handed Fletcher a chair and a bag of weapons.
Ospreay got to the bag first, grabbed a barbed wire bat, and went full medieval on Fletcher’s face.

At this point, Kyle Fletcher realized brute force wouldn’t work, so he went full soap opera villain.

  • He pulled out a United Empire armband, reminding Ospreay of their past friendship.
  • Then he sucker-punched him with a low blow.
  • Then he shoved the bloody armband INTO OSPREAY’S MOUTH.

And if you thought that was the worst of it… oh boy, it got worse.

Screwdrivers, Thumbtacks, and a Spanish Fly to Hell

Fletcher retrieved a screwdriver from the top of the cage (because why not?), proceeded to stab Ospreay in the head, ribs, and back, then followed up with a Brainbuster onto a chair.

Still, Ospreay refused to die.

  • Fletcher dumped out a bag of thumbtacks.
  • Ospreay hit a Styles Clash INTO THE TACKS.
  • Both men climbed the cage.
  • Ospreay hit a death-defying Spanish Fly from the top.

And somehow, they were still breathing.

The End: Hidden Blade, Tiger Driver ‘91, and Ospreay’s Victory

After possibly regretting every life choice that led to this moment, Ospreay closed the show:

💀 One more Hidden Blade.
💀 One absolutely spine-crushing Tiger Driver ‘91.
💀 Three seconds later, Ospreay wins.

Final Thoughts: Was This Even Legal?

In the aftermath, neither man looked like a winner—just survivors. Ospreay got the W, but Kyle Fletcher proved he was willing to bleed, stab, and betray his way to the top.

This wasn’t just a match—it was a warning to anyone thinking of stepping inside a cage with either of these two maniacs ever again.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
