In what may go down as the fastest match ever clocked without a speed limit, Will Ospreay defeated Konosuke Takeshita on AEW Dynamite: Spring Break Thru and advanced to the Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Finals, proving once again that cardio is real and Ospreay doesn’t respect the laws of gravity, physics, or slow-motion replays.

This match was less “back and forth” and more “human fireworks show”:

  • Takeshita countered a top turnbuckle setup, because of course he did.

  • Ospreay hit a Stun Dog Millionaire and an Os-Cutter to the outside ramp, taking both men down like they were trying to one-up a Fast & Furious sequel.

  • After a series of roll-ups, kick-outs at one, elbow sandwiches, and a Hidden Blade fakeout, the match became a blur that required slow-mo just to comprehend.

Then chaos hit peak form:

  • Takeshita hit a Hidden Blade.

  • Ospreay said, “Cool story,” and responded with a Styles Clash like it was a 2005 TNA flashback.

  • Takeshita kicked out, because he’s allergic to being pinned.

  • Ospreay sealed the deal with a Stormbreaker, a move that may or may not cause minor earthquakes.

Now, Will Ospreay heads to Double or Nothing to face the winner of Hangman Page vs. Kyle Fletcher, with a shot at the AEW World Championship at All In Texas on the line. And if he keeps this up, by that point he might evolve into pure motion blur.
