Get your edges laid and your moonsaults ready—because Night 2 of WrestleMania 41 is opening with some serious championship swagger.

On Sunday’s pre-show, Michael Cole confirmed that the Women’s World Championship Triple Threat Match will open the night, pitting reigning champ IYO SKY against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley in a high-stakes showcase of flips, whips, and shoulder clips.

Let’s break it down like a backstage brawl with no security:

🏆 Match Lineup:

  • IYO SKY (c): The Sky Genius, the chaos queen of the moonsault, and the woman who took the title from Ripley like it was a lost luggage item.

  • Bianca Belair: Elimination Chamber winner, undefeated at WrestleMania, and probably the only person who can deadlift two other humans while doing her own entrance.

  • Rhea Ripley: Former champ, part-time Judgment Day enforcer, full-time walking goth gym, who politicked her way into the match with fists, eyeliner, and several high-decibel arguments.

How We Got Here:

Originally, this was IYO vs. Belair—a clean one-on-one between two human highlight reels. But Rhea Ripley wasn’t having it. After losing her title to IYO back in early March, Ripley launched a full-blown campaign to get reinserted—brawling weekly, dropping promos like mixtapes, and demanding respect like someone who forgot they already have half the merch stand.

After weeks of “Raw” chaos, GM Adam Pearce did what every WWE official does under pressure: broke like a folding table and added a third person to the match.

On April 7, the triple-threat became official. Now, all three women enter WrestleMania 41 Night 2 with something to prove and something to win—and one of them’s walking out with that belt.

This marks the second night in a row that ‘Mania has opened with a championship bout, and if Night 1’s chaos was any indication, fans are in for a first-match main-event level classic.
