Folks, WWE 2K25 is here (if you paid extra, of course), and WWE just dropped a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the game’s biggest commercial. The ad features Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Rhea Ripley, and a cast bigger than an Avengers movie (just with fewer spandex capes and more championship belts).
And if you thought The Tribal Chief didn’t see himself as the main character of this franchise, think again.
The Island—Where Roman’s Ego (and Gameplay) Run Wild
One of the biggest additions to WWE 2K25 is The Island, a free-roam mode that lets players complete quests, buy items, and fully immerse themselves in what Reigns calls “a WWE world.”
Roman, never one to downplay his own importance, made it clear that this was LONG overdue.
“I’m not going to lie, we’ve been expecting this for a long time. We earned it a long time ago.” – Roman Reigns, humbly declaring himself the center of the WWE Universe
According to Paul Heyman, this wasn’t just a commercial—it was an epic production. With 75 people on set at one point, Heyman proudly declared it “the most expensive commercial in WWE 2K history.” (And let’s be honest—he’s probably right.)
A Commercial Fit for a Tribal Chief
Filmed over two days, the ad showcased some of WWE’s biggest names, including:
✔️ Roman Reigns (obviously)
✔️ Liv Morgan (somehow sneaking into every major project these days)
✔️ The Bloodline—both the OG version and Solo Sikoa’s version (family reunions are complicated)
And of course, Paul Heyman, who probably whispered sweet nothings about contract clauses between takes.
When Can You Play? (If You Haven’t Already Given WWE Your Money)
If you pre-ordered the Bloodline or Deadman editions, congratulations—you’ve been playing since Friday. If not, well, March 14 is your day of reckoning.
One thing is clear: Whether in the ring or in video games, Roman Reigns still sits at the head of the table.
