WWE just hit us with a “First Time Ever” so bold, you could hear Michael Cole warming up his vocal cords already:
Survivor Series 2025 is going down in a baseball stadium.

That’s right—Petco Park in sunny San Diego, California, will host this year’s Survivor Series on November 29, marking the first time in nearly 40 years that WWE’s annual war games and brand supremacy bonanza will be held outdoors, in a stadium, with a distinct scent of hot dogs and kayfabe.

Triple H, in full Corporate Game mode, said in a press release:

“For the first time in the event’s nearly 40-year history, Survivor Series will take place in a stadium on November 29, and we believe Petco Park in San Diego is the perfect host for a historic night.”

Translation: Let’s do five-on-five elimination matches where baseballs usually go to die.

San Diego hasn’t hosted a major WWE premium live event since 2008, when it got the final One Night Stand—aka the show where the rules were optional and tables were mandatory.

And speaking of San Diego, all eyes are on Dominik Mysterio, the hometown boy who just grabbed the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41. If he manages to hang on to the title until November (or Judgment Day doesn’t implode first), we could see Dirty Dom defend his gold in the same city where he probably still has overdue library books.

WWE’s promising OnLocation premium packages, which will reportedly include:

  • 🎟️ Premium seating

  • 🥂 Fancy hospitality with actual Superstars

  • 📸 Ringside photo ops (because selfies > steel chairs)

  • 🤝 And the rare opportunity to shake hands with someone who’s been RKO’d on live TV

In short: Survivor Series is swinging for the fences—and hoping to superkick someone into the dugout.

I like ice cream, taking a back seat, wondering who I am, and pretending kayfabe is real. May or may not be the Real Dark Brandon. For the LOLZ. MALARKEY!
