WWE just dropped the trailer for their upcoming “WWE Unreal” series and folks—creative chaos has never looked so cinematic. This behind-the-scenes look at the madness of WrestleMania planning revealed something juicier than a contract signing gone wrong: the original WrestleMania 41 card, as scribbled on a whiteboard that clearly took more damage than Shane McMahon’s knees.

In the trailer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque himself—creative czar, part-time suit, full-time sledgehammer philosopher—talks about giving fans insight into the “unreal” world of WWE’s creative process. The result? A messy, marker-covered whiteboard containing alternate timelines that make the Multiverse of Madness look like a children’s book.

Here’s the scoop from the whiteboard multiverse of mayhem:

🔹 Still Standing Strong:

  • Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena

  • AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul

  • The CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins triple threat? Still on the board. Because of course it is. You don’t casually erase a match with that much Twitter engagement.

🔹 What Could Have Been:

  • The original Night 1 main event was nearly Punk vs. Rollins vs. Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Spoiler alert: Gunther didn’t make it, and instead got steamrolled by Jey Uso, whose name didn’t even appear on the whiteboard.
📝 Note to self: Always expect the Usos. Even when you don’t see them.

  • The Women’s World Championship was initially booked as Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair, with Iyo Sky nowhere in sight… until later revisions slotted her in. The original plan for Iyo? Teaming with Asuka to face Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, a tag team match that would’ve broken several fan hearts (and possibly an announce table).

  • Jade Cargill was not supposed to face Naomi. She was meant to square up against Nia Jax. Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre was penciled in for a battle of beefcakes against Bron Breakker, but instead ended up facing Damian Priest while Breakker found himself in a four-way brawl with Dominik Mysterio, Penta, and Finn Bálor.

🔹 Celebrity Shenanigans & Injury Curveballs:

  • Dominik Mysterio vs. Bad Bunny was apparently on the menu, with Rey Mysterio set to face Chad Gable while the music megastar played hype man. But Rey got injured and was replaced by Rey Fenix, which is like being replaced at prom by your cooler, masked cousin.

  • Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton was also part of the plan, but alas, injuries made sure that dream match stayed just that—a dream.

  • WWE also planned for The Judgment Day to feud with the Wyatt Sicks, who remain ghosting the roster harder than a Tinder match with commitment issues.

Bottom Line:
The WWE Unreal teaser just confirmed what we always knew: WrestleMania cards are less of a plan and more of a living, breathing organism—one that changes faster than Vince McMahon’s facial hair. The only thing more unstable than these match lineups might be Dominic’s relationship with his father.
