In the world of professional wrestling, where action speaks louder than words, Keith Lee has taken a moment to break the silence with a heartfelt message to his fans. Since being pulled from AEW Worlds End 2023 at the eleventh hour, Lee’s absence has been felt by many, but the outpouring of support hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Lee, who hasn’t been very active on social media lately, made a special appearance on X (formerly known as Twitter) to express his gratitude. “I don’t spend a lot of time with social media these days. But I wanted to make sure I popped on here to give thanks to many of you… The ones who reach out privately. The ones who tweet publicly. The ones who share positive things. I see you. I thank you. I appreciate you.”
The last time fans saw Lee in action was on the December 23 edition of “AEW Collision,” where he secured a victory against Brian Cage. He was set to face his former tag team partner Swerve Strickland at Worlds End, but was replaced last minute by Dustin Rhodes, his Naturally Limitless partner.
Though Lee hasn’t provided a timeline for his return, he reassured his fans in another post on X that he’s working hard to get back in the ring. “Doing everything I can to get things handled. Unexpectedly, It turns out I got some more than decent people in my corner. They know who they are…. and I am forever appreciative. All will be well in time. They will help me get done, what needs to be done. Appreciate the Love.”
There’s still some unfinished business between Lee and Strickland, who has since climbed the ranks to become the AEW World Champion. Fans can only wait with bated breath to see how this saga unfolds when Lee makes his much-anticipated return.
